Pen LeavesPen Leaves

These words fall from my pen like leaves from a tree, influenced by nature, environment and the slow strands of classical invention from my headphones mixed with the restaurants booming reggae.

Like a raging tide, it cannot be forced into submission, rather it shapes the beach, as it wants, so do the words take control. Each story is rejected by my muse, and so nothing shall be written today, rather just random pretty sentences strung together in a pleasing manner, and when read back, surprise, though like a Twinkie, sweet to the tongue, doesn’t contain much other than air and sugar.

than any other.
now we are truly Capulet vs. Montague

this Juliet readies the pen
above her heart, poised,
above the papers
that will turn her from matron to maid

and hesitates before the judge.

waits to see if Romeo is truly dead,
waits for the priest, a divine sign

waits

dangerous with the dagger,
to end her their life
to take away

khaki’s, knotted sweaters
little label whore with
Jackie O’ glasses
after mass on sunday

is playin’ Halo with a gravity hammer
another cursed filled team slayer
she’s the lady behind the curtain
on the headset with an evil chuckle
killing your boyfriend with mad skillz

covered in duplicity
you couldn’t tell
prada to pwn-age
