The Barren Monarch“It’s not fair!” She wanted to scream to the heavens, shame burning hot mixed with equally intense anger rocketed through her system.

She wanted to pace like a tiger or some betrayed monarch and command for their heads in an imperious voice that would sound ridiculous coming from her on any other occasion.

Instead there were tears that seemed invisible till she checked to see why she could hardly see from her eyes, only to find them swollen.

Inexcusable and somehow justified in the swirling vortexes of a hormonal mind, she hated though she smiled and felt regret for doing so.

He turned from the window, regarding her with intense, dark eyes. He could see how his words had affected her, tears gathering in her large eyes, wide in surprise. She had her hand to her heart, and he could almost hear her soft ‘oh’.

His love glanced away, color blossoming along her cheeks, moved and embarrassed.
Despite his previous melancholy mood, he smiled. He moved silently to her side, sliding one hand into hers, the other tilting her face to his.

Taken at FX '09 in Orlando Florida.

One of my amazing friends Raihn asked me to participate in a Belly Dance exposition at the Wolf Pack Elite Party. It was only later I realized I looked like a vampire belly dancer, lol!

We did a song to Punjab MC's mix to Night Rider, and somewhere there is a video, but honestly, I'm self conscious about belly dancing so I'm not sharing! That and half way through my top came undone, so I ended up keeping my shoulders back and NOT MOVING so as to not end up doing a Janet Jackson!!

Aah! I can see that this is an older photo, but it's a wonderful shot of you! The outfit looks gorgeous on you, and I'm sure the belly dancing performance must have been a lot of fun to watch! Excellent photo.

That costume is on hold until next year, unfortunately. With all the recent changes in my life, I won't have time to give it justice until I get more settled, which means it won't be ready for D*Con. Most likely it'll be just me and Black Cat, Poison Ivy and my cloak of Twilight.
